Drawing from chintz and the tradition of the palampore, this tea set translates the layered imagery of Indian painted textiles across two cups and two mismatched saucers. Indigo and maroon flower posies emerge as the cups are lifted and the saucers interchanged. Each piece is individually hand-painted and signed by its maker, making the set as much about looking as it is about tea shared between two.
