Inspired by the botanical world of the Hortus Malabaricus, this tea set brings the Flame of the Forest and Dhatura across two cups and two interchangeable saucers. Individually hand-painted and signed by their maker, the pieces are detailed with 24-karat gold, with different compositions revealed as the cups are lifted, exchanged and returned to their saucers. The set turns the act of drinking tea into an unfolding study of Indian botanical forms.
