Atelier Ashiesh Shah brings together Indian craft traditions and a contemporary language of geometry, proportion and material. Working with karigars across the country, the studio draws from regional techniques and ways of making, allowing irregularity, surface and the passage of time to remain visible within each object. Across furniture and objects, the practice is shaped by an ongoing exchange between inherited knowledge and new expressions of form.
