Butter lamps have long been lit as offerings, carrying the flame as part of acts of prayer and devotion. Here, three interpretations of the familiar form come together in brass, copper and aluminium with a gunmetal finish. Each metal brings a different tone and surface to the set, from the warmth of copper and brass to the darker character of gunmetal. Brought together by the act of lighting a flame, the Trinity lamps become a study in material, ritual and confluence.
