Wood & Salt is a testament to the many heirloom craftsmanship techniques tucked away in quiet corners of the subcontinent. Their designers—Rishad Patel and Imran Ali Khan—use single pieces of Sheesham wood, sourced from Mapusa to handcraft these organic shapes inspired by nature.

Each piece is carefully turned with a hand lathe by a single family working together. Finishing them with the traditional technique of using linseed oil makes them entirely food-safe. Anthology selected pieces for the simplicity and natural beauty of its source material that best resembled its inspiration; be it the intricate structure of a honeycomb or the soft curves of a bougainvillea.
